Shelley began her career in property management in 1984, working in rental property management with The Gables Company (formerly known as Trammel Crow) while attending college. Shelley relocated from Dallas, Texas with Trammel Crow, to Miami, Florida, as Resident Manager of some of the most pristine apartment housing in South Florida.
Shelley moved on to working with a top developer and builder in Boca Raton, as a Customer Service Manager of a 240-unit HOA. Once the Developer relinquished control of the HOA, the Management Company hired her as the On-Site Property Manager. She spent a total of 10 years dedicated to the HOA. She then continued her career as a Portfolio Manager with this leading Management Company in Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties.
Shelley then managed a luxury, high-rise Condominium on the Intracoastal in Boca Raton for over 5 years, until moving to Melbourne Beach, where her parents had resided for over 30 years.
She joined Vista Properties Management (now known as First Services Residential) in 2004, as a Portfolio Manager of eight (8) Associations in Melbourne Beach, offering her successful experience, reinforced by keen organizational, decision-making, detail oriented, and problem solving skills.
Shelley’s hard work, dedication, ambition, competence and confidence, led her to opening her own company, Bella Vita Property Management, Inc., in June, 2009.
She has been a Licensed Community Association Manager since 1996, has traveled extensively abroad, and is tri-lingual. With a wealth of knowledge and experience of over 30 years in Property Management, her education, foreign language capabilities, personal commitment and professional performance will prove a winning combination for her business.
